The most important tasks of student interns during internships include:
1. Learning about the organization, tasks and principles of operation of the school, including how to maintain applicable documentation, regulations regarding ensuring safe and hygienic learning and working conditions;
2. Conducting French lessons in tandem with another student-intern and independently, under the supervision of an internship mentor.
3. Participating as observers in French language classes conducted by other student interns and a mentor.
Thanks to the reliable and reflective implementation of these tasks, student interns will gain:
1. Knowledge of the organization and principles of school operation
2. Ability to carefully observe the lessons of the mentor and other trainees;
3. Ability to conduct French lessons;
4. Knowledge about students and their environment;
5. Ability to cooperate with other people important in the child's life (class teacher, supporting teacher, etc.)
6. Knowledge about yourself as a future teacher
Detailed tasks – intern responsibilities
1. Getting to know the school's statute
2. Getting to know the internal school assessment system
3. Conversation with the class teacher about assessing students
4. Getting to know the regulations regarding safety rules for learning, working at school and outside of it during classes with students
5. Getting to know the student regulations and the educational program of the school and a given class
6. Learning how to keep school documentation (class diary)
7. Recognition of school customs and traditions
8. Preparation of a French language teaching program for a given class for the entire semester
9. Observation of classes conducted by the mentor and other interns
10. Analyzing observed activities
11. Analyzing the lessons you conduct with the teacher-internship supervisor (CKNJOiEE methodologists)
12. Getting to know your strengths and weaknesses, assessing knowledge and skills
13. Regular and timely preparation of documentation (lesson plans, observation tables, , final internship report)
14. Conducting multilingual and multicultural education as part of French language lessons.

To prepare lesson plans, the student can use artificial intelligence (AI) tools (linguistic correctness of instructions in French, activity ideas). The remaining work/tasks should be performed independently by the student, without the use of AI tools.
The student is obliged to complete all 30 hours of internship in a semester.
The assessment consists of the following elements:
a) systematic fulfillment of tasks (sending lesson plans and other materials and submitting complete internship documentation on time - 25% of the grade at the end of the semester
Each outline is assessed on 10 points: 1 point for term, 2 points for prepared materials for the lesson, 3 points for linguistic correctness, 4 points for methodological correctness
c) positive evaluation of the internship given by the primary school class teacher - 25% of the final grade
The teacher assesses preparation for the lesson (2 points), punctuality (1 point), ability to achieve lesson goals (4 points), personal culture (3 points)
d) positive evaluation of the internship issued by the mentor whose French lessons the student will observe - 25% of the final grade
The mentor evaluates preparation for the lesson (2 points), punctuality (1 point), ability to achieve lesson goals (5 points), personal culture (2 points)
d) positive assessment by the methodology specialist visiting the lessons - 25% of the final grade
The methodologist assesses punctuality (1 point), ability to achieve lesson goals (5 points), linguistic correctness (3 points) and personal culture (1 point).
30 hours of compulsory internship allow you to obtain 2.5 ECTS points:

69%-76% - sufficient plus
77%-84%- good
85%-92% - good plus
93%-100%- very good
Practical placement
The student completes a teaching internship - 30 hours - at Primary School No. 146 in Warsaw.
