Absolwenci filologii nowogreckiej są przygotowani do podjęcia studiów uzupełniających na kierunkach należących do obszaru humanistyki i nauk społecznych. W szczególności mają szansę rozszerzenia i pogłębienia wiedzy oraz doskonalenia kompetencji językowych na studiach uzupełniających na kierunku kulturoznawstwo - cywilizacja śródziemnomorska na Wydziale "Artes Liberales", gdzie prowadzony jest tzw. moduł nowogrecki (seminarium, konwersatoria w języku nowogreckim). |

On completion of the programme of study the graduate:
- demonstrates knowledge on the place of philology in the system of science and its subject and methodological character.
- demonstrates basic knowledge on the place of modern Greek language among other indoeuropean languages and its meaning to the developement of modern languages and disciplines of science.
- demonstrates knowlegde Essentials tu use written and spoken modern Greek language At least At B2 level
- demonstrates Basic knowledge on modern tendencies in theory of literature enabling to analyze and interpret literały text including traditional and modern methods of scientific research in the area of literature.
- knows the most important episodes from the history of ancien Greece, Byzantium and modern Greece .
- is able to speak modern Greek fluently on particular subjects.
- reads, analises and Interpress literały texts (prose, poety, plays) and scientific texts In modern Greek merely, placing them In historical and cultural context.
- understands the importance of Greek cultural heritage in Polish and european culture and has a sense of responsibility for preserving it. rozumie znaczenie dziedzictwa greckiego w kulturze polskiej i europejskiej i ma poczucie odpowiedzialności za jego zachowanie;
