MD - Didactic module – Adult Education 2300-NZ2-MD-AND
The goal of the module is to acquire basic knowledge, skills and social competencies in the area of preparing and conducting different types of adult educational classes. During the classes students are acquainted with the basic issues and specificity of andragogy as well as creating class scenarios. Moreover, during student training the students will be given an opportunity to become familiar with different situations that may occur while planning, conducting and evaluating a didactic process of adult learners.

1. Possesses knowledge relating to formulating and operationalizing the objectives, methods and didactic means
2. Has structuralized basic knowledge in the area of the specifics of
adult education
3. Possesses basic knowledge: relating to preparation and execution of adult learning didactic process,
4. Possesses basic knowledge relating to public speeches and auto
presentation
5. Knows the basic phenomena that occur during didactic process
Abilities: student
1. Is able to utilize the basic theoretical knowledge to plan and execute
didactic activities for adults in different forms
2. Is able to prepare a public speech on a chosen subject
3. Is able to match the knowledge delivery method to different groups of recipients
4. Possesses the ability to understand and analyze problems that arise
in the course of didactic work with adults
5. Possesses the ability to utilize the acquired knowledge in applying effective communications techniques with adults
6. Possesses the ability to prepare a conspectus and a script for
didactic classes
Social competencies: student
1. Is able to conduct didactic classes with a group taking on different
roles
2. Is able to designate priorities for preparing and executing the
didactic process
Practical placement
Apprenticeship of 90 hours in the field of adult education
