Seminary: Regional hydrogeology of the world 1300-OSGRS-GES
The seminar is designed to acquaint students with regional hydrogeology of selected parts of the world and new methods of research used in hydrogeology, a comparison of hydrogeological conditions in the regions with different environmental conditions.
The seminar will also put students into practice to study a professional world literature and draw conclusions and assessments. Moreover, these classes teach the free use of English-language hydrogeological terminology, ability to select materials and present them in a solid, clear and interesting way.

After completing the seminar a student:
acquires the ability of referring the scientific English-language hydrogeological literature and knowledge concerning on the hydrogeological issues specific to different regions of the world.
Assessment criteria
The way of presentation of problem, the degree of knowledge related issues, the quality of the seminar work.
