Environmental problems in the exploitation of energy resources 1300-OPSEW-GES
The issue of environmental risks associated with the production (and indirectly with reworking and transport) of basic energy resources: black and brown coal, oil and gas is presented during the lectures. The main environmental risks associated with the production of energy resources are linked with:
- transformation of the land surface
- mining damage
- impact of dehydration and depression cone
- contamination of surface and groundwater, soil, air,
- industrial waste produced in the process of production and processing of energy resources
- failures associated with the operation and transportation of energy resources.
Topics related to reporting on the environmental impact for investments involving the production of energy resources are also presented during the lectures.
