- knows the basic terminology of grammar and normative linguistics and understands the role of linguistics in culture
- understands the relationship between the disciplines of the humanities and social sciences
- knows the basic methods of normative analysis and interpretation of texts
- knows the basic principles of scientific communication in the field of humanities and social sciences
