1. From Aristotle to Wierzbicka; different concepts of metaphorical statements.

Assessment criteria
Credits for specific subjects are not required, basic knowledge of 20th-century linguistics is desirable.
Flexibility of thinking, willingness to take part in discussions, systematic reading of relevant material. Basic knowledge from linguistics and social communication will be useful.
