Assessment criteria
The grade for passing language classes consists of the following elements
- activity during classes - 25% of the grade,
- results of tests, partial tests, homework - 25% of the mark,
- final test result - 50% of the grade
however, in order to obtain a pass mark for the semester, one must demonstrate achievements in relation to each of the above-mentioned categories (a student who receives 0% in any category will not receive a credit, i.e. has not shown any activity in one of them)
Grading scale
99 - 100% - 5 (excellent)
93 - 98% - 5 (very good)
87 - 92% - 4+ (good plus)
77 - 86% - 4 (good)
71 - 76% - 3+ (sufficient plus)
60 - 70% - 3 (sufficient)
1. For completing 60 hours of classes, i.e. achieving the assumed learning outcomes, the student receives 2 ECTS.
2. In addition, the teacher will define detailed rules and criteria for crediting and announce them to students during the first class in a given academic year.
3. In a semester covering 60 hours of classes (30 × 2 hours), it is possible to miss 3 classes without any excuse; in the case of language courses with 30 hours per semester, semi-online classes and e-language courses, it is permissible to miss 2 classes without justification in the semester; missed classes should be counted in accordance with the requirements of the teacher. These requirements are made known to students by the teacher during the first class.
4. The final grade (and ECTS points) is entered into the USOS system.
5. An unsatisfactory grade can be entered only as a result of unsatisfactory learning results, confirmed by grades from a credit test, tests, homework, etc.
