Regional Ethnography of Poland 3102-LETR-OG
The course is divided into two parts. First is devoted to acquaint students with basic notions related to the subject, regional divisions introducted by the authors of the handbooks of ethnography, and the regionalistic movements, and their ideals. In the second part the culture of several regions will be discussed.

Having completed the course the student will know: regional diversity of folk culture in Poland, regionalistic movements and their ideals, and current efforts to preserve and promote cultural heritage.
