Theories and methodologies of research on women's/gender history
History of women's emancipation and activities in 20th century Poland in a Central European context
Skills:
Independent research, selection and organisation of historical sources
Critical analysis of sources and formulation of hypotheses on its basis
Evaluation of the state of women's/gender history research and methodological specificity
Assessment criteria
○ attendance (two absences permitted, participation in workshops/conferences will be considered as attendance)
○ active participation in discussions
○ 5 short written assignments based on readings
○ preparing presentation with a historical introduction contextualizing the the topic/source
