Podczas studiów na filologii polskiej pogłębisz wiedzę na temat:
historii literatury polskiej XX i XXI wieku oraz literatury popularnej;
najważniejszych mechanizmów rządzących językoznawstwem w ujęciu ogólnym oraz zmianami języka w ujęciu diachronicznym.
Nauczysz się w stopniu pogłębionym:
analizować najnowsze teksty literackie i literaturoznawcze;
przygotowywać teksty naukowe;

Na filologii polskiej możesz wybrać jeden z dwóch modułów:
Tradycja i nowoczesność
Komparatystyka.
W obrębie obu modułów zrealizujesz obowiązkowe przedmioty literaturoznawcze, językoznawcze i metodologiczne. Wybierzesz także konwersatoria, dzięki którym dostosujesz ścieżkę kształcenia do swoich zainteresowań.
Na drugim stopniu filologii polskiej możesz wybrać jedną z dwóch specjalizacji zawodowych. Są to specjalizacje:
nauczycielska – mogą ją realizować tylko osoby, które skończyły tę specjalizację na studiach pierwszego stopnia;
prosty język i przyjazna komunikacja – zdobędziesz umiejętności i kompetencje związane z upraszczaniem komunikacji w firmach i instytucjach oraz dostępnością komunikacyjną (tu znajdziesz więcej informacji).
WAŻNE: Specjalizacje na studiach drugiego stopnia są nieobowiązkowe . Nie musisz realizować żadnej z nich.

Praktyki realizujesz w ramach specjalizacji zawodowych, przy czym:
na specjalizacji nauczycielskiej trwają one 120 godzin i realizujesz je w szkole średniej;
na specjalizacji prosty język i przyjazna komunikacja trwają one 60 godzin i zrealizujesz je w wybranym banku, ministerstwie lub innej firmie lub instytucji, zajmującej się upraszczaniem i dostępnością komunikacyjną.

possesses comprehensive knowledge of terminology, theory and methodology concerning literary and language studies, and logopaedics; has contextual knowledge of cultural sciences; knows and understands the major directions of development and approaches of the contemporary linguistic, literary and logopaedical theories; has knowledge of the position and importance of the Polish philology and logopaedics amidst other academic fields and disciplines.
understands and is able to explain the semantic, formal and pragmatic mechanisms crucial for the shape and content of the utterance; can recognise and indicate the elements that may give a language speaker problems with structuring a statement, as well as explain the mechanism of the difficulties; can identify and characterise the incorrect, correct and model pronunciation.
understands the aetiology of mental disorders in children, including early autism, ADHD, behavioural disorders, and other problems of the developmental age; can describe symptoms typical of various mental diseases in children.
has extensive understanding of disorders and retardations in the development of the language and speech system, knows various classifications of speech disorders; has excellent knowledge of language-related and non-related symptoms characteristic for a disturbed development of speech, and other disorders, such as aphasia, dysarthria, speech development disorder resulting from hypoacusia, brain damage and/or mental retardation, autism.
perfectly understands speech disorder treatment methods, methods for speech stimulation in children, interpersonal communication and procedures supporting the psychomotoric development.
can describe – relying on his/her knowledge – analyse and explain language and non-language symptoms of disturbed speech development or acquired speech disorders; can draw up a treatment plan allowing for a patient's possibilities and needs; can perform treatments on a patient and check the efficacy of the methods employed against the actual treatment effects and can collaborate with other therapists on building a successful programme of patients' re-education or recovery.
recognises, correctly analyses and helps to successfully solve the emotional and social problems of patients with disturbed speech development or with acquired speech defects, is aware of the responsibility for the diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and has the gift of understanding the emotional and social situation of patients and their family members.

Practical speech therapy classes are done in a logopaedical surgery, psychological and pedagogical clinics, and kindergartens during 100 hours (5 ECTS), in interim continuous and non-continuous format.
