How does Warsaw work? Practical workshops on improving the city 4208-JdW-OG
The subject is organised in cooperation with the City of Warsaw Municipal Council as part of the "Young Warsaw - City with the climate for young people 2016-2020" program. Classes will be taught by experienced practitioners - officials, city activists, informal leaders and representatives of non-governmental organizations. During the classes you will gain practical knowledge about the possibilities, tools and strategies for implementing your own ideas for the city. You will learn what are the possibilities and formal restrictions, you will understand the principles behind functioning of municipal institutions, as well as the importance of informal social networks. If something bothers you, you want to change something or find a group of actively engaged colleagues, than this is a course for you.
Warning! Classes are held remotely in a synchronous mode. Class attendance is an important element of the assessment.

Assessment criteria
Attendance (20 points), active participation during lectures (30 points)., group presentation (50 points). To obtain the credit, it is necessary to get at least 60 points.
