Multimedia Presentation Design Course 4100-PPM-OG
The course is addressed to students interested in the effective design of multimedia presentations using desktop programs and web applications.
Effective visual communication is an important element of each student's academic activity. Also, it is widely used in the further professional career. It is a key element attracting recipients. It also serves to build relationships with clients and promotes the brand,
This practical course allows you to learn more about various tools for visualizing content: presentations, reports, infographics, graphics for social media and printed documents. Using various techniques and best practices you will learn different composition techniques, use inspirational tools and design your original projects.
The course will use available desktop software (PowerPoint) and web applications (GoogleSlides, Visme, Infogram, Prezi, Adobe Spark, Canva, etc.)
It is divided into 10 thematic units. Each of them ends with an original project.
First, the basic elements of the graphic design will be discussed: lines, shapes, negative surface, work with the grid, fonts and colours.
Further on, each student is expected to work on original projects with suggested tools. The course will be realised on Moodle.

Assessment criteria
Classes are divided into thematic units. Each unit is devoted to the implementation of a specific task/project. The basis for assessing individual partial tasks is their originality, reliability and appropriate academic level. You can receive a maximum of 6 points for each task. Quizzes are also provided.
