Tito, Hoxha, Ceaușescu, Zhivkov – political biographies of communist dictators in the Balkans 4035-SP-THC-OG

The lecture will be organized following the personal
biographies of the four aforementioned dictators.
Henceforth, an analysis of their political biographies,
main activities, thoughts, ideas, political decisions,
writings and, last but not least, their contemporary
memory will follow. Following this path the lecture will
offer also an in depth analysis, although by no means
complete, of the development of communist ideas and
implementation of real socialism in the Balkans during the
second half of the 20 th century. The lecture will organized
