Climbing follow-up 4023-O-WSP2
Training always begins with a general and specialist warm-up.
Students will:
– perfect their climbing skills (particularly body positioning depending on the rock formation) and develop motor habits
– learn advanced techniques (e.g. heel hooks, heel and toe hooks, dynos, roof climbing)
– perfect their feeling of balance and the centre of gravity, as well as static and dynamic movements
– learn climbing tactics and efficiency (energy conservation)
– get acquainted with various climbing styles (OS, FL, RP, etc.) and climbing competition rules
– learn various ways to enhance climbing skills
– enhance general and special physical fitness (strength, agility, feeling of balance, endurance).

Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
