Men’s volleyball – beginner and intermediate level 4023-O-PIŁS21
During volleyball classes on the beginner level, students will learn:
– overhand digs and bumps: overhead, forward or backward, in various initial positions, in a low or high stance and when moving, in pairs, trios or fours, as a drill or play
– underhand and overhand serves: tossing and serving techniques, strengthening the power of the arm and abdominal muscles to serve the ball over the net from behind the end line of the volleyball court
– spikes, dumps and cheats: standing attack, jump attack (including proper approach) from one’s own toss or a set, ability to choose an attack technique depending on the set, single block.
Students will develop general and special fitness accounting for the character of the game, particularly strengthen the abdominal and core muscles, shoulder and pelvic girdle muscles and limb muscles, develop jumping skills, flexibility and agility, and increase endurance.
Students will learn individual and team tactics in small games (2 vs. 2, 3 vs. 3 or 4 vs. 4) and large games (6 vs. 6, training games with specific tactics, proper games in the following systems: ‘everybody sets’ in beginner groups or 4-2 in more advanced groups).
In addition, students will learn the game rules and the basics of safe and fair competition.
