Men's basketball - advanced level 4023-O-PIŁKO4
Improving basic basketball skills such as: moving with and without the ball in attack, dribbling, different finishes after dribbling and running, rebounding, blocking, various techniques of passing and catching, basics of quick attack, individual defense of the player with and without the ball balls, pick & roll rules. Exercises in strict form, game fragments, school game and proper game. Developing skills and using mastered individual and team behavior in the game. Developing and shaping technical skills as well as motor skills and movement habits necessary to play basketball.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in classes.
