Men’s basketball 4023-O-PIŁKO2
Learning basic basketball skills, such as moving without the ball, dribbling, running shot, off the dribble shot, jump shot, rebounds, screens, fast attack fundamentals and individual defence. Practice, test games and proper games. Development of skills and use of the individual and team actions in the game. Perfection and consolidation of basketball skills, whose main component is mobility. Development and enhancement of technical and motor skills as well as motor habits required to play basketball.

Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in classes.
