Posture correction classes 4023-O-KOR1
By performing exercises, students will improve their health, particularly:
– develop proper posture habits
– eliminate dystonia (in which some muscles are subject to excessive tension or contractures, while others are weakened or excessively stretched) through special exercises: active and passive stretching as well as strengthening of postural muscles (responsible for maintaining upright posture)
– improve spine mobility
– acquire the ability of proper chest and abdominal breathing through slow, supported and resistance breathing exercises
– develop motor co-ordination
– realise the negative impact of environmental factors onto the posture.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
