HIIT for beginners 4023-O-HIIT1
A training strategy of alternating exercises of varying intensity over short periods of time. All muscle parts of the body are strengthened. It is an intense interval training, designed for people who want to quickly burn fat and improve their condition. Due to its intense nature, training also has a positive effect on the aerobic capacity of the body.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in classes.
