Body flow 4023-O-BOD1
A set of exercises to develop body awareness, improve flexibility, strength and balance through a combination of yoga, pilates, stretching and elements of a healthy spine. The goal is to improve the overall condition of the body and well-being.
The classes include exercises at various levels of advancement, tailored to the participants' abilities. Classes are performed on mats using your own body weight and with equipment such as: yoga belts and blocks, dumbbells, rollers, bosu, pilates rings, medicine balls and rehabilitation berets. Training conducted to calm music, individual pace of work, with particular attention to the correct exercise technique.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in classes. Classes are based on verbal instruction, visualization and practical demonstration, group exercises and individual correction.
