The content delivered within the course is divided into five main thematic blocks covering key areas of managerial and entrepreneurial competencies.
Block I – Project Management
This block introduces the concept of a project, its life cycle, team roles, and fundamental approaches and methodologies in project management.
Block II – Project Planning and Implementation
The block focuses on planning project activities, defining project objectives and scope, risk management, and monitoring project progress.
Block III – Time Management and Self-Management
This block addresses issues related to effective work planning, prioritization, increasing personal productivity, and coping with stress.
Block IV – Marketing and Entrepreneurship
The content includes marketing-oriented thinking, customer focus, fundamentals of entrepreneurship, and the development and implementation of project ideas.
Block V – Communication and Negotiation
This block covers team communication, relationship building, conflict resolution, and the basics of negotiation in educational and business environments.
The order of issues addressed and the level of detail in their implementation may change slightly.

The student knows and understands:
W1 - project management methods and tools (classic and agile),
W2 - principles of time and personal energy management,
W3 - basic marketing and negotiation concepts,
W4 - mechanisms of entrepreneurship and value creation.
The student is able to:
U1 - plan and monitor a project,
U2 - set priorities and manage time,
U3 - conduct basic negotiations.
The student is ready to:
K1 - work in a team.
Assessment criteria
A pre- and post-test will verify the increase in knowledge and skills. Furthermore, the assumed learning outcomes will be reviewed on an ongoing basis during practical sessions.
Assessment: Final project – preparation of a simple text document.
PLEASE NOTE
1. A sick note does not exempt students from learning the course material. It only entitles them to an individualized form of assessment.
2. Students who have received approval for an individualized course of study are required to contact the course coordinator to discuss how to achieve all the learning outcomes assigned to the course. If the above-mentioned outcomes cannot be achieved, the coordinator may refuse to grant credit for the course.
3. Attendance is mandatory. In cases of justified absence, the student is required to contact the course coordinator immediately.
