Upon completion a student can understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment); s/he can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; s/he can describe in simple terms aspects of his/her background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need

After completing the course, the student:
SKILLS
A2_U1 - communicates relatively freely within topics related to everyday life and in typical social situations
A2_U2 - identifies messages in selected, simple materials of various types and verbal messages, necessary to achieve a non-linguistic goal
A2_U3 - understands and uses information contained in selected, simple everyday texts
A2_U4 - presents information in oral and written form, justifying decisions in a simple way
A2_U5 - is able to search for simple source information using various means and methods
KNOWLEDGE
A2_W1 - has general knowledge regarding the description of the language system
A2_W2 - has knowledge about the culture of a given language area
A2_W3 - knows selected issues regarding the history and geography of a country or region
SOCIAL COMPETENCES
A2_K1 - is able to work in a group
A2_K2 - knows learning strategies and understands the need for self-education and learning throughout life
A2_K3 – is able to express his/her intentions and beliefs in accordance with the requirements of a given culture, as well as understand the intentions of others
A2_K4 – is sensitive to problems resulting from cultural differences
Assessment criteria
a.
The following elements constitute the credit for the language course:
activity during classes: 25% of the grade
test results, partial tests, homework: 25% of the grade
final test result: 50% of the grade
b. To obtain a positive grade, you must demonstrate achievements in relation to each
of the above-mentioned categories (a student who receives 0% in
any category will not receive credit).

Grading scale
99 – 100% 5! (excellent)
93 – 98% 5 (very good)
87 – 92% 4+ (good plus)
77– 86% 4 (good)
71 – 76% 3+ (sufficient plus)
60 – 70% 3 (sufficient)
d. For passing the 60-hour language course, i.e. achieving the assumed learning outcomes,
the student receives 2 ECTS. e.
For completing a 30-hour course, i.e. achieving the expected learning outcomes,
the student receives 1 ECTS.
f.
In the case of 60-hour courses, you can miss 6 hours of classes without
excuse. In the case of 30-hour courses, you can miss four hours of classes without
excuse
