Islamic Art and Culture in Balkans 3600-PST-KSIB-OG

After completing the course and confirming the achievement of learning outcomes, the student is able to:

Outline the diverse origins and fate of Muslim communities in the Balkans, as well as their current situation,

Outline the assumptions and role of unorthodox currents in Balkan Islam - Bektasism and Sufism,

Explain the phenomenon of writing in Arabic alphabet in local languages,

Identify important monuments, their groups or categories in individual regions of the Balkans.

Evaluation as part of the knowledge written exam acquired during the lecture and on the basis of the recommended literature.

5.0 - very good knowledge of the material presented during the classes and on the basis of the recommended literature, very good reading in the literature on the subject, proficient use of the specialist methodology
4,5 - very good knowledge of the material presented during the classes and on the basis of the recommended literature, very good reading in the literature on the subject, proficient use of specialist methodology
