Indian Literature (Hindi) 3600-IN-LI-OG

The lecture introduces problems concerning the history of Hindi literature. The works created in modern Hindi (khariboli Hindi) at the beginning of the so-called modern period, i.e. from the 19th century to the beginning of the 20th century, will be discussed against the background of their historical and socio-cultural context.
The history of research devoted to it and the periodization of the history of Hindi literature from its beginnings to the present will also be presented.
