Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the course the student:
- analyzes the basic linguistic phenomena and processes of the thematic area covered in the conversation;
- is able to use the grid of basic linguistic concepts and terms;
- is able to select an appropriate methodology for the description of linguistic phenomena;
- understands the influence of language on the conceptualisation of the world.
Assessment criteria
Attendance check (the student is entitled to 2 absences per semester, each subsequent absence should be credited in a manner agreed with the instructor) and evaluation of active participation in class.
Final test conducted in written form including open questions and choice questions.
