Psychology - workshops 3305-PSW-MD-1U
The classes will be organized around the following thematic blocks:
I. The teacher as a tutor and the needs of their students — expectations and challenges resulting from the characteristics of the adolescence (in cognitive, emotional and social areas), from the specifics of working with a group and from the social perception of the teacher's profession.
II. Basic psychological skills important in working with an individual or a group (of students or their parents) —verbal and non-verbal tools for effective communication (active listening, providing feedback, reacting in a conflict situation, motivating and encouraging cooperation)
III. Psychoprophylaxis of professional burnout. Cooperation with other specialists. Reflection on the ethical aspects of the profession and on one’s own strategies for working with students and parents.
