Knowledge:
Students are able to identify and discuss key notions in rhetoric and communication.
Skills:
Students are able to analyse persuasive discourse.
Students are able to use specific conversational techniques in practice.
Social competences:
Students develop awareness of the role of communication in social contexts.
Assessment criteria
Attendance is mandatory, 3 absences are allowed. There are two components of the final assessment: presenting a short argumentative talk at the end of the term (80%) and participation in class discussions (20%)
