Practical Russian II 3221-30PR12L
After the course on this level a student is able to ask and answer questions concerning everyday life, his own needs, known topics. He is able to use simple expressions and statements to describe the place he lives in, the place he is from and the people he knows. He is able to write a short, simple text, e.x. greetings from holiday. He is able to fill in the form with his personal details, nationality, job, address, e.g. in hotel registration form.

Learning outcomes
After completing the course, student:
- knows the basic grammar (masculine nouns (continuation), neuter and feminine uninflective nouns)
- can inflect nouns with no singular form (pluralia tantum)
- is able to comment on specific thematic areas (Семья. Где мы живём. Кем стать)
- performs the grammar exercises related to discussed issues
- recognizes the role of Russian language knowledge in the workshop of Belarus researcher.
Assessment criteria
Presence and activity in the classroom, current preparation for classes, oral tests, three translation tests.
