During the semester, each participant will be asked to perform on the piano:
1. a chorale by J.S. Bach in old keys,
2. a selected movement from W.A. Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik,
3. a fragment of the second movement of the 7th Symphony by L. v. Beethoven,
4. a fragment of the second movement of the 9th Symphony by A.
Dvorak,
5. a fragment of the third movement of the 3rd Symphony by J. Brahms.
The ability to read musical notation and identify chords efficiently and fluently is required.

The student will be able to read the notation of a multi-voice composition on the piano, using a reduction in the number of voices in the case of orchestral pieces.
