Ang. Maritime archaeology of the Northern Europe 3101-DWMOR-OG
We will discuss the contribution of maritime archaeological research on the history of ancient navigation.The lecture will be presented changes to the equipment and material culture of the vessels from the late Middle Ages to the nineteenth centuryand to present the opportunity to research posed by well-preserved, precisely dated historical collections obtained from the exact dating of the shipwrecks. Theoretical aspects will be discussed primarily in the concept of maritime cultural landscape and to present this approach in the work of archaeological sites. Will discuss the main international principles and projects devoted to the protection of underwater cultural heritage."
