Managing crisis situations from a public relations perspective 2700-ZSKP-OG
The lecture will guide students through issues related to the management of crisis situations from the perspective of the media, both those that we currently call traditional (press, radio, television) and new media, today mainly perceived through the prism of the Internet, including social media.
The following topics will be discussed during the lecture:
1. Crisis management - basic definitions.
2. Causes of crises.
3. Typology of crisis situations.
4. The organization's environment in crisis situations.
5. The role and tasks of the crisis staff.
6. Stages of crisis situations.
7. Media management in crisis situations.
8. Prevention in crisis situations (crisis manual, training, procedures).
