The beauty and power of diversity: in life, at work and elsewhere 2600-PSR-OG
The course is inspired by the multimedia "Heritage" Gallery in the POLIN Museum. According to the online description of this Gallery, it is “dedicated to the cultural heritage of Polish Jews. We want to remind people whose achievements have become the heritage of successive generations and us today. We want to show their extraordinary biographies, which reflect many turbulent historical events. At the same time, we also want to look at the profiles of these people in the light of their Jewish-Polish roots” (https://polin.pl/pl/galeria-dziedzictwo). The course will be the implementation - in a university form - of the vision of diversity management resulting from these goals as “a way of life" and "building a vocational path" so that students can experience the multiple meanings of the heritage of Polish Jews and, on this basis, also other multiple manifestations of diversity The course combines historical (in the sense of organizational history), sociological (organization's activities for their social environment), psychological, managerial and ethical perspectives
