(in Polish) Module - Policy Environmental policy 2100-MON-MPEP-OG
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the issues of international environmental protection, especially the thematic area related to climate change. The most important causes of this phenomenon, geographical, physical, economic, social and political effects and their main manifestations observed both at the global and local level will be discussed. In addition, the evolution of the international climate regime, its effectiveness and main challenges will be discussed. The climate policy of Poland, the European Union, the United States, China and selected countries of the global south will also be presented. Among the topics discussed are also ecological social movements, non-governmental organizations and international enterprises.
