Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, students will:
• be familiar with current issues regarding women’s representation in world politics.
• have a good understanding of mechanisms that influence female representations.
• be able to recognize trends in women’s representation all over the world.
• be able to employ one case study method.
• improve teamwork and argumentative skills.
• be able to provide recommendations to improve policies and demonstrate critical thinking skills.
Assessment criteria
Classes will be based on interactive teaching methods, requiring students’ active participation (student-student interaction, teacher-student interaction & interaction through multimedia)
The students will be evaluated according to:
Presence & active participation in classes - 30% of the final grade
Group project and presentation of the results - 70% of the final grade
