Learning outcomes
After the course student can characterize the glacial morphology of high mountain environment and is able to use that knowledge in the context of palaeogeographical and palaeoclimatological reconstructions; the student knows the most recent data concerning the pleistocene palaeogeography of the most important mountain ranges in Europe; the student can define relationships between changing geometry of glaciers (today and during the pleistocene) and global and local climate changes.
Assessment criteria
Written test
