The Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint, etc.) is currently the primary office tool used in companies and institutions, offering features that support teamwork, cloud-based document management, and application integration.
The aim of the course is to equip students from various fields of study with practical skills in using Microsoft 365, covering both document editing (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). The classes will be conducted with simple and intuitive tools that do not require prior IT training. Participants will learn how to effectively create documents, analyse data, prepare presentations, and collaborate in a business environment.
Scope of topics covered:
1. Introduction to Microsoft 365
-The Microsoft 365 ecosystem – tools and their integration.
-Logging in, navigation, and working in the cloud.
-File sharing and real-time collaboration.
-OneDrive – storage, version history, and file sharing.
2. Word 365
-Basic editor functions (styles, formatting, tables of contents).
-Inserting tables, graphics, charts, and footnotes.
-Tracking changes and adding comments.
-Collaborative online document editing.
3. Excel 365
-Spreadsheet basics.
-Fundamental formulas.
-Conditional formatting, filtering, and sorting data.
-Tables and charts.
-Collaborative online document editing.
4. PowerPoint 365
-Creating and editing slides.
-Themes, layouts, animations, and transitions.
-Inserting multimedia and charts.
-Presenter mode and sharing via Microsoft Teams.
-Collaborative online editing.
5. Outlook 365
-Organising email, calendar, and tasks.
-Scheduling meetings and integration with Microsoft Teams.
6. Teams 365
-Teams, channels, chats, and online meetings.
-Collaborating on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents in Teams.
