Learning outcomes

Knowledge, skills and abilities that will be achieved by graduated students:
 Competencies of highly specialized data analysts, with advanced ability to combine theoretical knowledge and skills in order to process data, to solve complex problems during various analyses and researches;
 Advanced knowledge and skills in scientific and society sectors, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, quantitative methods in finance, actuarial methods, computer science and mathematics;
 Ability to combine theoretical knowledge with a comprehensive approach to data processing and analysis, taking into account the multi-dimensional methodology of processing large sets of data (such as "data mining" and "big data");
 Ability to apply advanced tools in practice, including those which are selected from the group of programming languages such as C + +, SQL and 4GL, as well as analytical tools that are selected from the group of STATA, SAS, R CRAN, Eviews and Matlab;
 Advanced skills in analysis of statistical conclusions, econometric modeling and forecasting time series that together with practical expertise in the field of information technology sourcing, integrating, processing and analyzing data, give specialists in economic and financial environments the opportunity to perform arbitrarily complex and specialized tasks in analytical and research departments;
 Knowledge of the modeling and specific practical skills in order to apply statistical and econometric models for advanced data and simulation analyses;
 Awareness of the economic benefits from a comprehensive data management in strategic decision making processes in various financial institutions, companies and businesses;
 Developed planning and creativity skills, good organization during creation process of various complex projects and analytical researches individually or in groups;
 Understanding and knowledge of behavior rules in accordance with professional ethical standards.
