BodyART training uses elements of yoga to increase general fitness. It strengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups, develops good posture habits and creates a harmonious body. Classes involve yoga positions as well as strength, stretching and relaxing exercises. The workout routine consists of sequences of moves made at the perfect pace. Exercises are performed to music, without any equipment.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
The basis for passing the course is systematic and active participation in the classes.
