Design instruments 3500-SCC-IP
The aim of the exercises will be to provide students with key skills and skills sought by employers to conduct effective professional and scientific activities, including: organization of scientific work, presentation and communication of results of analyzes carried out, communication in a team and project management from the borderline of social and IT sciences.
The course will be divided into three thematic blocks corresponding to these skills:
Block 1: Work organization and project management:
During classes included in the first thematic block, course participants will deepen their knowledge and project management skills, including the use of various tools to support management and cooperation (eg using Excel to create schedules, budget, reporting, use of selected tools for creating a repository and cooperation on-line)
Block 2: Communication in a team
During classes in this block, students will take part in the introduction to the basics of psychology of interpersonal relations and group processes. Each of the meetings in this block will be organized around a leading topic (problems related to communication in a team, intergroup and intercultural communication and the dynamics of group processes).
Block 3: Presentation and communication of the results of analyzes
During classes in this block, participants will learn how to effectively communicate the results of their analyzes.

Assessment criteria
There are 10 points for each block to earn. Each of the lecturers will inform you about the detailed rules for scoring tasks within individual blocks.
You will perform some of the tasks between individual blocks in order to maintain the continuity of the course.
