ADI: OECD PISA and Educational Research Data Analysis 3500-ADI-OECD
Workshop on Quantitative Data Analysis at the basic level (no additional prerequisites), referring to the OECD PISA (Program for International Student Assessment), carried out every three years since 2000, which is one of the most important standards in the assessment of the functioning of educational systems. On the one hand, we will look at the assumptions, goals and organization of a large international research program, the research tools used in it, the selection of the sample (and its consequences for the interpretation of the results), the methods of presenting research results and the forms of data sharing.
The next part of the course will be devoted to the introduction to data analysis using SPSS, the starting point for the SPSS exercises will always be specific research questions related to the issues covered by the PISA study.
