Learning outcomes
Knowlege: upon graduation the student knows:
-basic methods of text analysis representing various registers and functional
styles of the Spanish language and knows the basic terminology in the
description of the language and understands its sources and applications (P6S_WG)
- basic terminology of the field of research covering selected areas of scientific disciplines specific to Iberian studies; (P6S_WG)
- the history of Spanish and Latin American literature (trends, currents of a given era, main authors and their work) in a systematic way (P6S_WG)
- basic connections between Spanish and Latin American literature as well as
their individual and interlinked historical and cultural processes (P6S_WG)
- the most important events in the history of Spain and Latin America and important aspects of Spanish culture and language (P6S_WG)
Abilities: upon graduation, the student is able to:
- read and understand Spanish texts (P6S_UW)
- present their views, opinions, discuss, present prepared issues in Spanish (P6S_UK)
- independently acquire knowledge and develop skills using appropriate
sources from selected areas of science and scientific disciplines relevant to
hispanic studies (dictionaries, lexicons, encyclopedias, source texts,
monographic studies, etc.) (P6S_UU)
- communicate using various communication channels and techniques with
specialists in selected fields of science and scientific disciplines relevant to
Hispanic studies (P6S_UK)
Social competences: upon graduation, the student is capable of:
- a critical assessment of their knowledge and skills, independent and
autonomous work, and understands the need for improvement and lifelong learning (P6S_KK)
- active participation in the culture of the studied regions using various forms and media and to work in a team performing various roles (P6S_KR)
- being informed about current processes and phenomena occurring in the language, culture, and literature of Spanish speaking countries (P6S_KR)
