Knowledge of literature 3224-D1WLI
The definitions of the literary work in addition to the modern theory of literature: Psychology, Symbols (Literary), Textual Criticism, Semiotic Criticism, Theoretical Criticism. Analysis is to be carried out on literary works as follows:
1. Literary theory in literature faculty;
2. Defining the literary work;
3. The main elements of the construction of a literary work: the style and the composition;
4. Basic research activities: analysis, interpretation, valuation, normative poetics;
5. The models of analysis of literary work: Aristotle's Poetics, Phenomenology, Russian Formalists, structuralism criticism, intertextuality, deconstruction, genetic criticism;
6. Narratology and Continental Philosophy;
7. Cultural anthropology in literary criticism: mythologem unit;
8. Literature vs. visual arts.

Knowledge:
Student:
- knows the specifics of literary studies as a field of the humanities,
- knows the basic concepts of literary works and the main types of research methods,
- has a basic knowledge of the main directions of contemporary literary studies,
- knows the basic terminology of literary study,
- recognizes different philosophical assumptions about the nature of literature, and the resulting different research approaches to work.
Skills:
Student:
- is able to characterize the subject, objectives and methods of the major areas of study of the literature,
- is able to characterize different concepts of work,
- is able to identify the basic types of research methods and identify their essential features.
Social competence
Student:
- has a sense of responsibility for their knowledge and skills in analyzing literary works,
- is aware of the existence of different languages and scientific description of their limitations,
- has a sense of responsibility for the conduct of cultural heritage.
