The content of the lecture includes general aspects of instrumentology (music instrument as a material, cultural and symbolic object), and different sources of the instrumentology: museum specimens, instruments of the living practice, written, oral sources, iconography. In comparison to European instrumentology, the historical perspective will be less considered and the anthropological and cultural perspectives would be regarded more extensive.
