1. Presentation of the project "Exploring the workload and the specific activity of a communication specialist" and previous exemplary results from other countries (introductory lecture with elements of a seminar, in English). 2 hours.
2. Discussion of the specificity of the profession "communication expert". Theory of marketing, management, enterprise organisation, definition problems, tasks, nomenclature (introductory lecture with elements of conversation). 2 hours.
3. Presentation of the Polish adaptation of the project research tools: CAPI questionnaire and spreadsheets. Training in filling them in (seminar). Discussion of the RODO agreement and issues connected with safe storage and processing of data. 2 hours.
4. Identification and discussing acceptable possible areas of communication from which to select experts for further research. Indication of the profile of experts to be chosen. (seminar, workshop). 2 hours.
5. Identification of four communication experts to carry out the research. Presenting them to the forum, discussing their profiles, and justifying their selection. Discussion with the coordinator. Possible change if the characters are repeated. Completing the database of selected candidates if accepted by the coordinator (workshop, part 1). 2 hours.

7. Development of two additional questions to be presented by a given student to the experts selected by him/her. Presentation of the questions on the forum, justification, discussion, and possible improvement recommended by the coordinator. Adding questions to the database of selected contacts (workshop, part 1). 2 hours.

9. Development of communication methods with selected experts, i.e. the way of contact, the content of an initiating e-mail, the most crucial information to be used during a telephone conversation (workshop, group work) 2 hours.
10. Contacting the selected experts (identification of telephone, direct mail, profile on LinkedIn). Sending an initial email after two days of telephone contact with the experts. The setting of meeting dates. Completing the database of selected contacts with the results of the work (workshops outside the university, from home, work over the week). 2 hours.
11. Discussion of the results, in case of contact problems, identification of new experts, presentation and justification, approval of the coordinator, completion of the database of selected contacts (workshops), additionally - another attempt to make an appointment with them during the week. 2 hours.
12. Two meetings with the experts (online or in person, unconditionally face to face) using the questionnaire and two additional questions (CAPI + elements of structured interview). After each interview, completion of the summary form and submission to the coordinator. Data verification by the coordinator. These two activities take place outside the walls of the university. Eight hours (due to commuting time and form completion).
13. Students discuss their results so far and point out the strengths and weaknesses of this work and the difficulties encountered (workshop). Coordinator's comment. 2 hours.
14. Two meetings with the experts (online or stationary, unconditional direct) using the questionnaire and two additional questions (CAPI + elements of structured interview): After each interview, complete a summary form and submit it to the coordinator. Data verification by the coordinator. These two activities take place outside the walls of the university. Eight hours (due to commuting time and form completion).
15. Students discuss their results so far and point out the strengths and weaknesses of this work and the difficulties encountered (workshop). Coordinator's comment. 2 hours.
16. Analysis of the form with data by the coordinator. Final approval of the work. 0 hours (coordinator's work).
17. Workshop work under the guidance of the coordinator to elaborate on the data. Dividing into groups and delegating specific threads of the questionnaire to be elaborated + answers to additional questions given to the group members by selected experts (workshop, part 1). 2 hours.

Assessment criteria
Pass mark:
• you can have two unexcused absences
• completion of core tasks: development of two own questions, finalisation of four PAPIs with communication experts, participation in group work to develop conclusions and a final report
• activity and commitment
Practical placement
Passing the course guarantees 10 hours of professional practice.
