5. Automated Clearing Houses. Interbank settlements organisation in Poland and other EU countries.

7. Computer risk and methods of its reduction, e.g. banking information systems. Disaster revovery.

Learning outcomes
The course increases competency of participants on labour market, given theoretical and practical background in information management in banks and other financial institutions.
Knowledge:
Upon completion of the course a student knows basic modern IT applications and implications on banking industry.
Skills:
Upon completion of the course a student is able to discuss arguments in favor and against the importance of modern banking information systems.
Social competences:
The course enriches student`s theoretical knowledge and boosts their analytical and scientific competences.
