Cultural management and informal education 2300-N2-SD-AKEN
Seminar focuses on cultural management and informal education activities. We are going to investigate activities from many different areas like: cultural centers, sports, art, cultural and social activities on different levels.
Our goal is to look at how activities is organized, evaluate in form of events (festivals, performances, local communities events). We want to study different levels of organization, funding and how this activates inflict public or just learn them to participate in communities.
The formula of seminar assumes that our works will have research character but also practical. During our seminar we will meet and visit chosen examples of cultural management and informal education places. We also will have opportunities to talk with cultural activist and others, to improve our understanding of cultural practices.
Main aim of seminar is to create own bachelor based on reliable research. Our research model is focusing on analysis of many different practices from cultural management, social intervention, dissemination of culture, social activities and others.
From this point our works will Focus on chosen examples, like cultural center analysis or analysis of chosen event.
At our first semester we will learn basic rules of writing thesis and also we will chose our topics. As a part of our classes we will learn technical site of bachelor. How to make: footnotes, bibliography, quotations, sources use and others.

Assessment criteria
The first semester of the seminar is credited by the students on the basis of grades form the test
The second semester of the seminar is credited by the students on the basis of the prepared research
During the first semester students credit from the following test:
- bibliography formulation
- text format
The second element of credit will be creating research topic.
During the second semester students credit based on preparation of:
- methodology
- research tools
- research area
