SDEZ - Practice at the employment office 2300-MS2-SDEZ-PUP
During the practice student learns a tasks of substantive divisions of Labour Office: Department of Registration and Records, Center for Professional Activation, Departments of: Labour Market, Services for Disabled Persons, Legal, Marketing, and other departments ensuring the functioning of the Office.
In particular student become familiar with:
- Laws regulating the tasks of the state administration in the field of promotion of employment, vocational activation, and mitigation the effects of unemployment,
- Activities related to registration and de-register the Office clients, the granting the benefits, maintenance and circulation of documents, the scope of cooperation with local authorities, employers, social welfare centers, health services,
- Conducting job placement, career counseling, information and job search assistance, support employers, job boards organization,
- Preparation and implementation of labor market programs financed from the Labour Fund,
- Registration, records, and activation of the disabled looking for a place in the labor market,
- The scope of the legal advice received by the Authority,
- Promotion of the services, conduct research and analytical activities.

Learning outcomes
Student after completing practice:
1. has extensive knowledge of the educational pathways of young people, the system and vocational fields,
2. have a basic understanding of the scope and principles of educational assistance and psychological (in accordance with the privileges of the school advisor)
3. has knowledge on methods of diagnosis, with particular emphasis on diagnostic factors in the development of educational and professional
4. can apply different theoretical approaches for diagnosing, analyzing and solving the problems of construction personal educational and professional paths
5. is able to use the specialized terminology and clearly communicate with the representatives of various social and vocational environments,
6. is able to assess the usefulness of standard test methods and procedures for the implementation of given pedagogical tasks
7. is aware of the importance of behavior in a professional manner and respect the rules of professional ethics and respect for multiculturalism
Assessment criteria
Assessment of student work prepared by the supervisor of practice. Assessment of essay containing reflections on the functioning of the labor office.Fullfilled the practice diary.
Practical placement
Practice in labor offices - 30 h.
