Full description:
During the course students will get to know terms such as: ethnic group, minority groups, national/regional/intercultural/multicultural identity, multiculturalism, bilingualism, intercultural areas, foreigners, refugees, economical migrants, gastibaiers). Students will have also opportunity to study issues connected to multicultural/ intercultural education as chosen examples of multiculturalism in Poland and other countries, social, economic, law and psychological problems of foreigners especially of kids and teenagers.

2.Multicultural/ intercultural education, glokalizm, regional education, globalization, americanization
3-4.Multiculturalism in Poland - history and present times, basic processes, facts and figures, ethnic minorities;
5.Different forms of migration - refugees, economic migrants, etc., the legal basis, the main problems, the statistics;
6th A foreigner in Polish schools;
7th Competence of animators working in the field of interculturalism and multiculturalism;
8-10. Activities and projects of non-governmental organizations in the field of cross-cultural animation;
11th The activities of local authorities and public institutions in the promotion of intercultural education and animation;
12th The situation of the Roma - Polish and foreign experience, marginalization and exclusion
13th Islam - the foundations of universal and ethnic diversity, the basis of Islam, Islam in the world, customs in Islam, fear of Islam
14th Jews in Poland - facts and myths, historical perspective, the reasons for designation
15th Sources negative attitudes towards "foreigners", stereotypes and their sources, a summary and evaluation activities.

Student knows and correctly applies the basic concepts and terms of intercultural and multicultural education
Students understands the mechanisms and determinants of psychosocial issues surrounding the problems of multiculturalism
Student knows the formal legal basis for the state policy towards foreigners with particular emphasis on the educational system
Skills
Student designs multicultural activities ,he can discuss multiculturalism factually and present his views on the problems connected with different cultures
Attitude:
student shows understanding and support for people with different cultures, he is receptive to these different cultures
student shows willingness to solve the social problems arising from multi-culturalism
