Prerequisites (description)
Learning outcomes
Participant should be able to define the alliance and to know basic classifications and typologies of alliances and main theoretical concepts related to them. Should be able to use effectively these theoretical tools to analyse NATO case. Should have substantial knowledge on NATO functioning, main activities and actions as well as main challenges for the Alliance. Should be able to define interests of members states, including Poland, their position on key problems in intra-alliance cooperation and be able to formulate prognosis of NATO further evolution and its role in international relations. That should improve his/her skills and capabilities to analyse international security environment.

Assessment criteria
Agreed with the participants, preferable option: final test in written form(multiple choice questions + open questions; students' presentation on selected issues - optional and voluntary, but could increase final grade)
